Settling in
I'm not real happy about my job or the fact that I am now living in Tarzana. I am settling in to my new place though. I guess it can't be helped; I have to live here, I might as well try and get comfortable.
I actually got most of my books put away over the weekend. I get cable next Saturday and DSL should be set up soon. One good thing is I'll be able to get 1.5Mbps down on the DSL line. Mmmm, bandwidth...
Alex and I went to the Kings game on Saturday night, thanks to a perk from work; they have tickets to all Staples Center events and since there aren't many hockey fans at work we got free tickets in the premier seats. It was a great game, made even better by the 2-0 score (Ziggy got both goals, one was an empty net).
Things won't be so bad once I have net access and cable. Still, I live in Trazana...

you bastard! Lillian and I got stuck in the damn Mc Donald's "family section"...Oh, dear god!!! Screaming, booger-faced kids, with their retard parents! They wouldn't even wait for the whistles to enter and exit the section. We tried to see if there was a way to upgrade our tickets, but we couldn't...Oh, well; At least it was fun. Ed, you have to let me know when you get free tix again.
