A strange dream...

Okay, so I'm supposed to write a story for Vicki today, but instead (or maybe in addition to, I might be bored later) I'm going to tell you all about a REALLY weird dream I had last night. Even stranger than the one I had the night before where Jason Allison was lecturing me on fractal mathematics and Chaos Theory.

So, a little background is needed... Way back in 1998 I ported a game called Battalion to the BeOS (I still have a dual 133 BeBox, how geeky is that?). It's a silly and fun game. If you have ever had the pleasure of seeing a Godzilla movie (the real Godzilla, not the Hollywood crap, but good old fashioned Toho, Inc. Godzilla) then this game will seem familiar. All the characters look like Lego Godzilla characters. It's neat.

Anyway, last night I dreamed that I was the character Googelon (the red pseudo Godzilla thing). The game was much better in my dream and I kept thinking "Wow, Andy really improved this game!". The explosions were really cool looking and there were new enemies. Especially fierce were the "Super Cruisers" (where I came up with that, I have no idea!). They would launch these atomic bomb thingies that look really neat when they went off. There were also these flame thrower type tank things that had really cool flames shooting out of the front. And there were these other player type characters (sometimes in the game another monster will appear and help you out). But the other player characters all looked like blocky C3P0 droids. They also wined like 3P0, and were especially worried about me getting hurt, so they'd surround me to for a shield so I wouldn't get damaged by all the explosions and whatnot.

Then things started getting hairy as more and more enemy began to overwhelm the poor droids and I started getting worried that I might get nuked by a Super Cruiser. Suddenly I heard this voice telling me where to go and what to do to escape. The really fucked up part, though, is that it was Ronald Reagan! Then, get this, he tells me that if I change my head (it was detachable, did I mention that?) and use the urn that held his ashes I'd be invincible and be able to kick ass against the Super Cruisers! Sure enough the urn is there (looking like an empty glass vase) and I put it on, which made me look like Tom Servo from MST3K. Then I began kicking ass! And just as things couldn't get weirder my alarm went off and I woke up.

How's that for a story?

It was really Jason Allison. That was a weird dream, too, but last night's was even weirder...

Are you on weird meds or something? No, it must be that chili you've been eating!

You need to see Vicki, BAD!

I don't really know how super cruisers and him removing his head to put on Reagan's urn relate to me, but i'm going to take that as a compliment anyway. The only thing I can really do for him is to give him a really good work-out so that he sleeps really good! :)

I had a dream about a King too.

Dreams are always better when Lewis is in them. Try dreaming of him Ed! Don't let it get too x-rated though ok? lol
