Random Kings fan
So, I took Vicki to Santa Anita yesterday. At one point we decided to check out the infield (the part in the center of the track). We found a seat in the shade (it was hot yesterday). So, we're sitting there and this guy with a Kings hat walks by, sees my Kings hat.
"It's tough being a Kings fan", he says. "Yeah", I agreed. "Going to the game tonight?" "Yup." "Yeah, me too." "See you there!", Vicki adds.
It was funny. Here we are two die hard Kings fans. Bummed about our team. But still going to the game.
Of course the best part of this story is the happy ending: Kings 2, Devils 1, in overtime. It was a great game. And even better is the dejected looks on the faces of really annoying Devils fans that were right behind us.

Not that this has anything to do with anything, but... I miss going out to Santa Anita. It's real nice there. I even managed to see Modern English and get Rob's autograph while I was there one year. Weee oooooo!
