What happened to day 2...?
That's what you must be wondering. Well, I'll tell you. The internet ate it. I posted last night from my laptop, using my cell phone to connect to the net. Unfortunately the fastest connection I could get was 9600. Yup, just like to good old days, when modems cost $500. While trying to post over this really *s*l*o*w* connection the program I was using died. It died every time I tried to post, but the others got through, just not day 2.
With that said... Day 2 we spend driving through the rockies. It was really nice, except the whether. We went from sun, to rain, to sleet, to snow, to hail, and back to rain. It rained the rest of the trip, until we got to Illinois. We got well above 10,000 feet and it is true; it is hard to do anything if you aren't used to the thinner air. We ended up spening the night outside of Denver.
And that's the story of day 2.

Just think, when you're dealing with sleet and snow, we'll be lounging by a pool. ;p
