Webcam
I broke down and bought an Apple iSight camera. Why? Because it attaches nicely to the top of my TiBook and I can run my webcam application, SimpleWebCam, at work. And it's just a really cool camera. So there.
Actually, this is going to help me test my webcam app. I plan to release it soon for sale as shareware. It's Mac OS X only and is, well, really simple. Nothing fancy, it just does what you think: takes and uploads images. It also makes thumbnail images, and you can take snapshots and save them to disk too. But that's about it. Like I said, it's simple.
So to test this thing I have it set up to upload to this blog, and the images on the side are the thumbnails it makes. Click on the image and the bigger version will pop up in a new window.
I'm such a nerd.
