Water tower
Vicki and I were taking a walk down one of the paths around our community and came across one of the Gilberts water towers. I still think seeing these things all over is weird.

Not Gilberts, Illinois, I presume? I'm a big fan of water towers, and not just for their public-works function of equalizing water pressure under changing demand. They're big, they're scary to climb because they bulge out, and they tend to look like they're about to blast off for outer space.
