In the last 2 days and 13 hours MT-SpamLookup blocked 1508 comment spams from the weblogs here at weblogs.litmusgreen.com, without a single false positive and only one or two missed spams, which I was able to add to the blocked words list. While the amount on attempted spamming has not lessened at all (in fact I think it's gone up) at least the number of spams that make it through is almost non-existent. I'd say 99.99% of all comment spam is being caught.
