Hi. Were you a SoCal punk circa 1984-1990? I am looking for people w/memories of that era. I am writing a novel and want views from the stage as well as the pit. I especially am looking for memories of Fender's Ballroom, the riots that took place there, South Bay Skins, Suicidal gangs, etc. I was an Orange County boy who went to a lot of gigs at Fender's, but my memory is faulty. If you, or anyone you know, is willing to submit to a bunch of pestering e-mails, please let me know. I don't think a good punk novel has been written...ever...and I want to do it. If you went to punk rock picnics, protests, hung out in Fullerton, saw shows at Goodies, etc. If you want to help, send me some stories, notes, questions...and I'll send you some idea of what I want to know. I can't pay you anything for your help, but if the book is ever published, I'll thank you in its pages and send you a free copy.
