Script Kiddies suck
Some middle eastern script kiddies (the files they left behind use a middle eastern site to get payloads) vandalized several of my websites recently.
I am not amused.
Luckily, the weblogs database wasn't affected, so rebuilding the pages was easy enough. My software site is kept in a subversion repository, so I just had to check out the latest version to restore the files there. The main Litmus Green site however hasn't been changed in years and was not backed up at all. Luckily I used emacs when I did change things and was able to find emacs droppings of the changed files. Same with the song library site.
I have spent a great deal of time and effort to clean up the mess they left and disable the scripts they used to get manipulate things.
To the asshats that did this: Fuck you. Seriously.
