Yesterday's Dreams, Today's Burgers...

So after my politics were neatly graphed for me, I read the results and knew that I had to see Propagandhi tonight. It's pretty much a requirement, you know. If you are now or ever were involved with politics, you must follow the appropriate music.

All and all it was a good gig, but the Knitting Factoy needs to add a wing, allow half as many people in or turn up the AC. Dude, you could not only hatch chickens in the place, you could fry them as well (wouldn't the irony be great - frying meat at a Propagandhi show).

Whenever I go to a gig, I feel like the oldest one there. It's not like the late 80's/early 90's. Back then you would walk in and know most of the people there. Of course, back then gigs would consist of a couple of dozen kids. As crappy as some of those "gigs" may seem to kids today, I miss them. What I would give to see MFR right now...

So did seeing angry anarchists from the Great White North inspire me to get back in the fight? Well, before I got home I did stop at Tommy's.

It's just not the same, eh? I sometimes wonder if it ever was...

Stopping at Tommy's was the right thing to do...that place is fantastic! Although, I must admit I'm a little jealous...I didn't know Propagandhi was playing until I saw Bren's post...I'm not exactly on the same page as they are anymore, but they put on an amazing show!
