The 2AMSHA...

A few days ago I thought of blogging my thoughts on how pop culture mixed with the internet and stupid teens can lead to the dumbest shit around. But these people speak volumes for me.

I'm Fucking Sick of This...

In 2002-03, the Kings lost a team-record 536 games to injuries. In 2003-04, they set an NHL record with 629. This season L.A. has had to deal with a lineup that has lost Aaron Miller, Jeremy Roenick, Luc Robitaille, Valeri Bure, Jeff Cowan, Derek Armstrong, Eric Belanger, Dustin Brown, George Parros and, most recently, team high scorer Pavol Demitra.

Bad luck? Coincidence? Divine Wrath?

We are the Job of the NHL.

Lightning doesn't strike twice...more like three times....for now.

George W. Bush, Super Genius...

Annoying someone via the Internet is now a federal crime.

Annoy me and go to jail.

I doubt this will last for long. If this is really going to be enforced then internet traffic should reach an all time low.

On The Inside...

You know it's a good night when you see an absolutely awesome live band at a place that sells $3 Russian Imperial Stout. When you've played in a band, you learn to really respect GREAT live performers. The Marked Men do not disappoint. Alex's Bar is a cool place because there aren't annoying 16 year olds who can't hold there stolen liquor, good sound for a small bar, free BBQ before the gig, only $7 per show, a good selection of brew (some good quality microbrews as well as the standard Guiness, Bass, Boddington's, etc.) and wi-fi access for those that need to take a laptop to a punk show.

North Coast Brewing's excellent Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout was the drink of the night, until they ran out. At 9% alc/vol it'll keep you warm. Smooth, very, very smooth. Once that was out of stock I moved to Anderson Valley's very nice Oatmeal Stout.
