Set Date

Yes, it's true, we have finally got a date for our wedding. April 23, 2005! Yah, Yah, Yah!!!!!!! I spent last Thursday and Friday running around Portland, Oregon with my mom looking at sites. I guess we saved the best for last, because it was the last place we looked at. We even got the patterns for my dress, plus the fabric and lace and we figured out what we're going to make on the veil. Now to pick out the photographer. I just spent all day online researching photographers. Whew, this is a lot of work.

My yearling

On August 13th, Rori turned 1yr old. I can't believe she's a yearling already! Wasn't it just a few months ago that she was born? My baby is growing up! She's also starting to show signs of "maturing". :( She's flirting with the studs, no matter what their age! I don't want her to grow up quite yet!

How I love Budweiser

Have I ever tried their beer? No, and I really don't want too. However, I would if I was forced to drink only 1 kind of beer and my survival depended on it. Why? Because of their Clydesdales. The fact that the very first commercial during the olympic opening ceremonies was the Budweiser clydesdales with the foal wanting to grow up and be like them, and then one of the adults turns and winks at him, shows me what a special company they are. :)

Frustrating

Can planning for a wedding get more frustrating? The sad part is that I think it will, which scares me alot considering how i'm about at my wits end already. And the crazy part about this is that i'm the one who wants the least out of a ceremony! I agreed to a ceremony because my love put in a very good and valid point for having one, and because i'm not only the only daughter, but the only child my parents have, thus, they want to 'spoil' me with a nice wedding and i'm fulfilling some of their dreams for the wedding they've always wanted me to have. Yet i'm the only frickin' one doing anything about it! I don't know a thing about having a wedding! I've never had one! I've never been involved in one except to show up in a matching dress and support the bride as part of a wedding party. I so want to scream right now.
